Look. I want to say yes as much as possible.

As you know, I’m a consultant and a writer.

I work with corporations, sure, but also with a lot of schools, churches, and NGOs that have little to no budget to pay me. I try to say YES to these jobs as much as possible. Sometimes, though, I have to say no because I can’t make it work, financially. Here are some of my expenses:

TRANSPORT to your school/ LODGING in your city/ CONFERENCE registrations to stay innovative & informed + present my findings/ PR (graphic design, website, flyers, business cards)

OH, and ALSO:

Living.

This work I love is also how I make a living: health insurance, food, housing, car, birthday presents for my foster sister, the occasional stick of gum or church offering. So…

If you appreciated my writing.

If you learned something from my workshop.

If something I did or said or laughed with you about was meaningful, then:

Please consider contributing financially so I can keep saying yes. YES to more of this work and to justice and to coming to where you are to keep spreading dialogue across difference. What kind of writing & consulting do I do, you ask? HERE: What I do
